SWIPE Press Kit

I was recently hired to make the press kit for SWIPE, a local short film that went on to receive awards from local film festivals. I had one month to get in touch with everybody involved for biographical information and get or take their headshots. I am very proud of the finished product!

I made this while teaching at Strasburg High School to hand out to my new class for photojournalism. I wanted the students to have something on hand to show them exactly what makes a yearbook page work. I made this sample page using pictures the students had taken and highlighted the most important elements so they'd have a visual guide.

I also put this together to have a reference guide for my students. As I was using these terms often in class, I wanted them to have a guide to always know what was happening when I talked about their designs. I encouraged them to use the terms as often as possible to make sure they knew them.
O'Neill's
New Drink Menu for O'Neill's Grill

My manager at O'Neill's asked me to make a new menu for the restaurant featuring a chalkboard background and his new idea for Bloody Marys. I made the chalkboard background in Adobe Photoshop and put the menu together using Adobe InDesign.
Bridal
Bridal Shower Invitation

I made this for my sister's bridal shower. Her friend found something similar online and asked me to make a version of it. I made the bottles and glasses in Adobe Illustrator.
Tangled
Tangled Fruit Art Project
​
I made this as a JMU student for a design class. The assignment was to recreate a photo using only pictures of fruit and manipulating them using Photoshop tools. I made this scene from Disney's "Tangled" using five stock photos of different fruits. This project earned me the department's Madison Award.
